One would be hard pressed to think of a single watch made by a luxury watch manufacturer to honor Formula One racing. Except possibly for the Ayrton Senna special edition by TAG Heuer – and their lesser known Targa Florio. The Targa Florio is probably the closest that any watch maker of note has come closest to honoring just the big F1. Unfortunately, this watch edition no longer appears in its catalog. Even worse, some of the watches did not sport the signature autograph of the late great Juan Manuel Fangio (the greatest F1 racer of all time) whereas some of them did. Most Targa Florio TAG Heuer replica watches can be found with Mr. Fangio’s signature. A good first start would be the RWB “TAG Heuer Targa Florio Men’s Watch 77″. This does have the great man’s signature right underneath the TH name and logo. Targa Florio also appears in script above the “automatic” word at the bottom of the watch. The double sub-dials are sixty minute and half-hour timers – a fast sweep sixty second timer appears on the outer rim of the face. The dial is all black and in a fluted stainless steel case. Out of necessity, the wrist band is of a supple looking black leather strap. RWB does offer a slightly more generic TH Formula One / Indy 500 fake wrist watch. This is a very interesting combination – who but a fake watch maker would think of combining a tribute to both great racing sports in one time piece? At any rate, it is called the RWB “TAG Heuer Formula 1Chronograph Steel Orange Men’s Watch”. As promised, the watch comes in a stainless steel case with a matching metal band. The orange dial face also supports the necessary instrumentation for a complete chronometer on this replica TAG Heuer watch.
